Imagine if wire mesh can deform on-site
This study is centered on generating anticipated morphological effects on surfaces through computational coding, with inspiration drawn from prestressed concrete. Such facade configurations can optimize the construction process while designing intricate surfaces, substantially enhancing transportation efficiency. The goal is to develop surfaces capable of undergoing deformation on-site, with the specific curvature pre-computed digitally to reduce discrepancies and improve efficiency. This endeavor is poised to bridge traditional textile craft with contemporary computational design methods, offering new insights and possibilities within the field of textile and architectural design.
